My family and I are heading up to Salt Lake City for a week over thanksgiving (22nd to 29th), kids are really hoping to see some snow. I understand its been a bit late coming this year but with the bit of snow coming, what do you locals think the odds of us getting to play in some snow in the mountains around thanksgiving??

thanks

By all probability, you will *see* snow, high up in the mountains.
In the valley, who knows ...

So, to *play in it*, you may have to go towards the mountains, like Park City maybe ?

It appears as if you are going to get your wish. You may have to head to the mountains, but if you do, there will be snow for sure. Alta got 7 inches last night.
