We sold our home in Draper our realtor did nothing to help. She was not willing to give us a real price that the mega monster could catch so I did all the leg work and told her after 1 yr on the market to drop the price. She squacked like a chicken, my husband almost divorced me but the place sold. Now it is up for sale on a short sale for less than what we sold it for. It is not only the owners fault.

I think an owner has to realize that their home is not worth 2.6 times the home next door that isn't selling either and both were built in the same year.

msfoom is on a distinguished road
I hear ya! We looked at Steeplechase because we originally wanted to be in Draper and our agent said it was a really nice subdivision. It was nice but all the homes were crazy expensive. We ended up in South Jordan and love it. But I see why it's frustrating. Our "neighborhood" has literaly 2 streets. Some houses are listed at 1.6mil and others that are short sale or bank owned in the 400-500k range. No one likes to take a loss on their home but SOME people are just not realistic.
