I will be moving to SLC soon (in June) and was wondering if soemone could comment on good/bad cell phone carriers in SLC? Anyone have great coverage? I will be moving to the East side of SLC if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance,
Trail Runner

I'm not in SLC, but I've had T-Mobile coverage for the past three years and have never had a problem with coverage in any single valley of the Wasatch Front. Sure, when I go hike up the backside of the Wasatch Mountains themselves, I've got no coverage at all. But in town, I have never had the slightest problems getting coverage anywhere in Provo, SLC, or Ogden.

I have Verizon and it works everywhere. I haven't had a single problem with it since I moved to Utah and it even worked up in Big Cottonwood last weekend.

I have Cingular with no problems at all. My wife just got T-Mobile, but seems about as good.

I've had a few carriers and for the most part, service has been fine with all of them. I do think that the best service I had was T-Mobile.

I've had sprint for the past few years and the only trouble I've had with my signal is near 3300 South and 3000 East.
