Wink Moving to White City...

Hey everyone I am moving to White City (Sandy) next month, and I am wondering if anyone has any info on White City.... Does anyone live there? I am curious about the water bills there since they have their own water district? Just looking for some sort of input I guess! Thanks!

Perhaps Shawn was interpreting Mommy's reference to "white city" as "caucasian city??" *lol*

I've been there but also don't know much about it. Seems like the typical sprawling suburbia found in many metropolitan areas.

Can't help on the utility or water district question.

LMAO! I didn't know there was a white city here in the salt lake valley and I've lived here for the last 10 years. I guess my wife and I have spent most of our time in either downtown or by the University of Utah and lost out on White City!

Well, Sandy a.k.a. "White City" now has Smoke-free parks, thanks to the group I am in, T.A.A.T., Teen Advocates Against Tobacco. So if you wanted to know if they have smoke-free parks there you go, LoL.

Default White city

Okay White City isn't a city. It is a census-designated place, like Kearns. That's why a lot of people that don't live near Sandy hasn't heard of it. "White City was an early subdivision or outgrowth of Sandy covering that area from Seventh East to Twentieth East and from Ninety-fourth South to One hundred and Sixth south. It was named for Kenneth White, the developer." That pretty much sums it up.
