Default Thoughts on the bluffdale area?

I am working for a company thats easily accessible from the bangerter highway in west valley and am looking for an apartment until I buy a home. The Bluffdale area seems to be a quiet area with a more rural feel but is close enough to a few highway options that I wont have a terrible commute.

Anyone have an opinion of this area or anything I should know about it?

Thanks!

I wasn't aware that Bluffdale had any rentals. I always thought of it as a high end suburb of the Greater Salt Lake area. I live in Herriman (next to Bluffdale) and in Herriman there are a lot of rentals. Access to Bangerter is nearly the same. I would expect to pay more in Bluffdale as well. I'm in the security industry and Bluffdale has perhaps the lowest (almost non existent) crime of any of the outlying areas of Salt Lake City. The commute should be about 25-40 minutes during the commute hours of the day to WVC area. Other than housing there's not much to Bluffdale. You'll cross over I-15 to Bangerter Crossing for most of your grocery needs and such. Other good shopping is just 7 minutes away on 12300 South off of I-15. For a lifestyle if you're either married or don't care about finding singles (most there I suspect are married with several kids) you'll be fine. It's mostly newer, and some of it is a bit more spread out as well. But as I said most is single family homes, not rentals.
