Smile Bountiful -- which area to move to

Hi all,

I am moving to Bountiful for a job transfer and would like to know which part of town is safe and where is the best place to purchase a home so that it will retain its value. I'm currently looking at purchasing a home that is in northeastern Bountiful. Does anyone have any advice? I've been there once and thought it was gorgeous and really liked how friendly everyone was.

Thanks!

I can't think of any area in Bountiful that wouldn't be safe. Maybe I don't know something someone else does, though.

Thanks Katzpar that is good to know. Do you happen to know what is considered to be the upscale part of Bountiful or if being on the north east side of Bountiful is an area that will hold its value for real estate? Thanks again!

Generally speaking, anything east of I-15 is more upscale than west of I-15 and anything further up the hillside is best.

Mueller Park is the most upscale part of Bountiful. Homes there are very expensive.

The closer your are to the eastern benches (eastern mountains) the more upscale it usually becomes. This is generally the case for any Utah city, including Bountiful.
