Smile Sapa Bar and Asian Grill on State St - Yum!

On State St just down from Sears. Wonderful food, kinda pricey. Appetizer (duck roll) and entree (Massaman Beef) was $29 w/tax and tip. Well worth it if you can afford it. Lunches are cheaper, of course.

They imported 400 y/o wooden screens from Viet Nam and have them set outside in the courtyard. Tabels and chairs out there, plus 2 black plinths for fountains. The screens aren't open now but they are considering opening them up for those low tables and cushioins for dining.

Very attractive interior, good service, (no kids, dcisive) and great food.

Just re-read my own post and I must say I did a terrible job of proof-reading!

The friend I went with has been there several times and loves it (different income bracket than me, LOL). We were the first customers on a Tuesday night at about 6:30 but it began filling up after us. She said it gets very busy later, the new "place to be."

Oh yeah, and no kids' menu!

Thanks...I need to make a UTAH love list of things to do and go and eat and yadda yadda.

It really seems like the little gem I have been searching for all these years in moving around.
