Default TELL ME WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT SLC & Clearfield

Tell me what you like about the SLC & Clearfield areas of UTAH.
I am looking for a position to transfer into in these areas and would love to hear what your opinion is on them.
I come from a very strong religious background and am hoping that there isn't a lot of bars or gent clubs and whatnot in these areas. Are there?
Any information would be greatly appreciated on this.
Thank you so much

SLC and Clearfield are two different animals. SL is the state capital and as such as the population that goes with a major city. Clearfield is small potatoes in comparison.

I'm going to make a leap here and assume you are moving to the Clearfield area. Clearfield has maybe 5 bars, no gent clubs and 1 adult store last I heard. In fact, I can't think of a single gentlemen's club between Ogden and SL. I can only think of 2 adult stores in that stretch. None of these types of places are allowed within so many feet of a church, school, etc.

Utah doesn't have a billboard problem either. There are some, but the state is not littered with them.

The differences between Baptist and LDS are too numerous to mention, but there are a number of Baptist churches in the area so I'm sure you could find one you like.

Can't remember what other questions you asked so hope this covers most of them.

Well, I don't know how to tell you this, but not only are there a lot of gent clubs, but there are a bunch of girls clubs too. What is truly odd about both is the fact that members all have the same first names. The gents are all called Brother, and all the gals are called Sister.

They're all nice folks, so don't be concerned.

I love Salt Lake and have now lived here for 10+ years moved from a small town. There are a few bars and such, but they are mostly located in less populated areas, or in a business area. There is a lot to do, but you have to be willing to use your imagination too. Not a lot of the entertainment is free if you like socializing, but there are plenty of natural wonders around. It depends really on what area you move into on how safe it is, but generally speaking it is a safe place. There are a ton of community events for kids and there are a lot of different lifesyles here. You just have to remember that we may be known for the LDS church, but really it is just a bunch of people that aren't perfect. I hope you find what you are looking for.
