Default Any "empty nesters" in Herriman?

Just wondering...

We moved here to Herriman about a year ago and it seems there are mostly young families with small children. We are past the "raising kids" stage and wondered if there are many older folks here.

Thought I would post it here - rather than go door-to-door to check it out.

I know that Decisive and his wife live in Herriman and are sans kids.

funny you'd remember that Katy, but then I guess i don't keep a secret of that. Indeed we are in our mid 50's, but in our case didn't have kids in the first place. We came up here on the hill in Rosecrest for the view and what we thought was going to be some quiet from the more city life we came from. Well, but of course back then we had no neighbors, just proposed homes around us for the most part. In spite of a few niggling issues we are pretty pleased with our decision. Shopping is convenient and we still have some privacy being on a corner lot. A single (long ago divorced) gal lives next to us, which was a miracle if not a blessing. We really don't associate much with any neighbor's except for one across the street that really likes my wife so she comes over often. All the guys in the neighborhood around us are typical "dad's and predominantly LDS, so I really don't see them for the most part. We have friends that get together for our small group of Hebrew believers on the Shabbat so it's nice to have some like minded folks to be with. Otherwise it's a pretty nice place to be overall. Yeah it's pretty funny to be called a gentile by those that actually are If they only knew

LOL...I am a quiet, but keen observer, and detail oriented

Oh, and I can remember almost everything I read. Glad that you are pretty happy there in Herriman. No place is perfect, of course. I love my town and never want to leave. It does have its downsides, but it could be much worse!!
