Nomad123 is on a distinguished road
Default South Jordan/Riverton Drive Time

It appears that the further one goes away from downtown SLC the cheaper the housing is.

Question: I'll be working at Ft Douglas (U of U area) What kind of driving time am I looking at if I rent a house in West Jordan?

South Jordan?

Riverton?

I'd say 45 minutes to an hour. There isn't great freeway access from those areas. The distance and drive time are one of the reasons housing is cheaper.

Travel time is short and when you look at it most of the houses are more expensive in the West/South Jordan/Riverton Area.
