Good Gracious, will this winter NEVER end??? My only salvation is that this time of year the snow doesn't last long. Even still....my patience is wearing very thin.

Lol, yeah right. Get a lighter and burn yourself for even a second and I think you'd change your mind. That's why people jump out of burning buildings once the fire touches them. Freezing is equivalent to being numb. Numb can't hurt because there's no feeling.

We're talking about weather, though, MrAnderson, not fire. I'm with Kaytidid. I can take the heat up to just about as high as it ever gets (at least here, without the humidity), but I absolutely can't deal with the cold. Heat may be uncomfortable, but cold HURTS! I can go outside in 95 degree weather and be out there for maybe a half hour or so before I start thinking I need to go inside and cool off, but when it's 25 degrees and the wind is blowing, I can't even walk through the parking lot from my car to my office without actually being in pain from the cold penetrating my back. And that's bundled up!

I'm with you Katzpur. Excessive heat over excessive cold any day. Weather that is, not fire!

I have loved skiing the past several days-who would think that the big storms come at the VERY end of the season!! I am hanging up my skis today though as my favorite ski buddy broke his arm on a run out yesterday..ouch. Come on Spring as I start tennis in the morning! And what up with all the dust again-am I really back in Kansas?

Well, according to my own personal calendar (see my OP), spring is due to arrive in Salt Lake on April 16. Let's see how accurate I am.

I think Katz may have hit it on this one. Wasn't it last May that it snowed though? Hmmm....maybe the sticking will be over now.

I see 70's real soon, great biking weather ahead!

OK katz- it is friday, April 16th and at my house....54 with lots of wind and clouds. On the upside, I broke at the clothes line yesterday and hung 2 loads of laundry out. We also had dinner outside last night.. I just wish that the wind would stop...Now....

It is Friday here at my house too. There is no wind, pretty blue skies and the temps should reach right about 70. Paradise is closing in....
