Question household costs in SLC

Hello all

I am moving to SLC and am looking to rent a property, but need some assistance with average household running costs.
I'm from the UK, so have no knowledge of the costs of running a house in SLC.
i need info on what are the services used in a house, i.e. gas, electric, water etc... and what are the average likely monthly cost of these kinds of services.

I know this is specific to the usage and size, but an average 2 bed house/complex home, with 2 adults living in it would give some idea on a likely cost.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Angela

We have a 2100 sq ft 3 level townhome and I can only speak for Electricity (we don't have natural gas) Summer is probably $70 / month with thermostat at 75 degrees F. Winter is usually about the same.

As far as Cable and high speed internet go...we usually pay about $100 / month for both.

Our association covers the cost for water and trash. All together I would assume a normal couple would rack up $400-500 in costs per month.

We have a 2400 sq foot house. Last year’s costs were:
Gas (winter) $180
Gas (summer) $20
Electricity $40
Water (summer) $60 (note we have a lawn to water. In an apartment you would not).
Water (winter) $15
Trash $20
Phone/Internet $56
Cable $50
