Did I say I was against a small business person or operation? Please don’t put words in my mouth. What I am against is feeding our American culture with more fast food that is made of processed crap because it is “convenient” and “cheap.” It is convenient and cheap to eat this way now but not when your heath goes down hill in the future and you are paying the consequence of your bad choices.

When you pay for all my food, and health insurance, and pay me then you can tell me what to eat.

Most people are fat because of the choices they make, including but not limited to the food they eat.

Not because they have a choice at all.

I go to Dunks for the coffee. Love the doughnuts and everything else, but it's the coffee I crave. When I get a chance to visit one, I generally just get 2 extra large coffees

This entire thread is designated "Dunkin Donuts in SA?", so that's what the conversation is about...

When driving across country, especially at night, I always look for Dunkin' Donuts, especially the ones open 24 hour's. Good place to get a cup of coffee and stretch out. They are cheap, quick and easy. And they have meals in addition to "Just Donuts".

Another American Tradition someone wants to kill?

Overkill much on this reply? Yup.

When driving across the country, I try to look for HEALTHY options, no matter what time of day or night it is. Don't make this a 'you're trying to kill small business' argument, because that's ridiculous.

This city already has a fat issue. That's documented. Do you even live in this city? Didn't think so.

Good for you. So your moto is Do like I do. Conform. No one allowed to eat anything but healthy food.

In America we have CHOICES. If there are 10 "bad" food joints and 1 "healthy" food joint in a given area, then it is everybody's CHOICE where they choose to eat. ADULTS don't need to be "spoon-fed", pun intended, by those who CHOOSE to eat "healthy" (read: bland, boring, tasteless,). ADULTS have only themselves to answer to, we were told what to do as children. I respect your choice, even if I don't agree with it. Don't try to FORCE your choice on me. I LOVE DD and have been missing them since I moved from Michigan. I think it is great we are finally getting them in San Antonio again.

BTW, I am 5'2 and 100 lbs. I "eat to live, I don't live to eat". Much like many other ADULTS. If my health is bad in the future, I only have myself to blame, for my CHOICES.

Make it a Dunkin, please! I was serious in my reply because we have a light hearted, happy thread and a "Debbie Downer" has to get all radical on it. I believe in eating what one likes, but in MODERATION.
