Negative. They're working though. The access road from Harry Wurzbach to Nacodoches was down to one lane yesterday evening for them to put up some type of barrier. It was a nightmare. The lanes on that side are also being paved. They are putting up some extra cosmetic things on the east bound side of the Perrin Peitel exit and the west bound exit to Perrin beitel is closed every night for them to work on.

I give it to the end of the year with a few more massive headaches.

The lane closure emails that are forwarded to us from TXDOT at the office say the scheduled completion date for the Nacogdoches to Austin Hwy portion of the 410 reconstruction and widening project is end of year 2010.

I have to drive all the way through that construction eveyday,
when you see me posting "positive" things in CD-Data, you'll know that is done.

just an fyi for anyone who happens in the area in the near future...the exit to get on 410 west at Harry Wurzbach is now closed. Everyone gets on now at Broadway. Construction traffic is horrid. To avoid that turn around at Nacodoches and get on at Perrin Beitel.

I just got a forwarded email informing me that the Westbound entrance ramp from Harry Wurzbach is now re-open. It says the contractor worked feverishly to complete the job, which was originally scheduled to take 16 days.

This is good news, especially given that construction of the Westbound entrance ramp from Nacogdoches has not yet been completed. That would really have been a traffic nightmare.

Constrution on 410 will never be done. Once one part is done they'll move onto something else along the loop.
