The deal is it's a nice location and a lot of people want land there..hence the higher prices.

you can get land out there for about 100k an acre - which isn't all that bad. More than I would like to pay, but there are plenty that will gladly pay it. If you get out a little farther it is a little cheaper.

It also depends on the exclusivity of the neighborhood. Anaqua springs = $$$$$ where at the springs = $$.

100K an ACRE isn't bad?!?! Holy crap...I thought I was being a little frugal when I didn't want to pay 10K and acre! No wonder I can't find any decent land at a decent price around here anymore! Guess I'll start looking in Seguin.

The area around Boerne Stage Road used to be just lovely. I've been going out to the Rose Palace for horse shows since it was built, and the only sign of civilization was Rudy's. Now it's been infested with yucko high density subdivisions. Hell, they had to put up a light at the intersection!! I just can't believe it's the same place.

Hi!

I was the kitchen manager at The Leon Springs Cafe when what is now Rudy's was just one of our little storage rooms.

I drive by now and go!

Wish I would have bought land back then, I would not be in Iraq.
