See where they have the coke from Mexico at, it's in the same place. I kinda like it. It's smoother than the HEB Original Cola that uses the corn syrup.

Got it, and got the Dr. B with sugar too. Can't wait to try it. Thanks for the tip!

You know, all this interest in real-sugar soda is going to unfold badly I think in the long run...people are going to start bit*hing about how HFCS isn't the culprit but that it is actually sugar. No one will bother to step in and say, "You know, the problem just might be that you're drinking 6 of those a day."

I just got some of the Dr. B with sugar and it's too sweet for me. Curious what the Cola is like. They were giving out samples of both last week, so I should have tried them then!

Also, while at HEB (Austin Hwy and Harry Wurzbach) today, I noticed they had Dr. Pepper with sugar. It didn't say that it was Dublin Dr. Pepper, but that it was a special anniversary thing. It was on display at the end of a random aisle with coupons for $1 off two packs.

we ended up trying them both. i can't say i really care for it, but i think it's because heb brand soda most closely tastes like coke products, which i do not like as much as pepsi. between the heb brand and throwback, i like throwback more.

Reminded me more of the pepsi throwback.

The HEBs also have the 125th anniversary Dr Pepper made with sugar in.

Big Red is also out with "Retro" Big Red in the original white cans made with pure cane sugar. They were going to test market it in West Texas first. I emailed and asked when it would make an appearance in the South-Central area, and have yet to receive a reply.
