Back in March, hubby and I steeled our nerves, drank our coffee and decided to haul our three kids to S.A. for some fun spring-break fun. And it *was* fun! I know how much I like looking at pics when I'm on searching forums, so hopefully others will enjoy these as well. We stayed at the Whyndam La Cascada and although the weather was a little rainy and overcast at times, we enjoyed every minute of it .

Day 1

(Just what the doctor ordered! )

(It's amazing how kids have so much energy even after traveling half-way across the country. They had probably been up and driving/flying/adventure-ingfor 14 or 15 hours by this point)

Day 2 coming soon!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! As promised....

Day 2

Our 2nd day was a Tuesday, so of course, we had to go the Witte (kids free on Tuesdays!)

The day started out rainy....

...but cleared up quickly enough!

As most of you parents know, it's rare to get a picture of the whole family together....cause someone's always gotta take the picture

This was husbands hilarious idea:

This was so neat. The kids were too excited to be scared!

Here is the view from the living room of our suite:

and the view from the master bedroom:

And here's a view of the inside (special thanks to Grandma and Pappy for having this totally amazing timeshare!!!!):

coming soon: day 3!

Fabulous pics! And what a precious family you have. I can't wait to visit SA next month -- it's been too long.

I'm glad people are enjoying our pics. I know a lot of them are of things that everyone takes pictures of, but when you're looking to move somewhere or planning a visit, there's no such thing as too many photos .

Day 3

Of course, we had to take this one

Love this...

Stop light on the river:

Now on to Hemisfair Park...

A view from the top of the tower:

This was at 5:30 p.m. on a Wednesday. I can handle "traffic" like that

Whew, that was a long day! And believe it or not, we survived to have a day 4 (coming soon!)
