This happened to me too Dopo! I know how you feel. Sooo degrading. My boss (who acts like a used car-salesman) told us that we were going to stain his Gigantic deck and paint the interior of his house. I'm working as a "Handyman" right now. I hate it. Yea I will try to get my GPA to at least a 3.0 so I don't have to continue to work crappy jobs like I am now. That would be a pointless waste of an education.

Best recommendation I can give you:
Don't watch any TV, don't use the internet, don't play video games.
And I guarantee that your GPA will go up instantly.

Right now I have a Cert. in Electrical Engineering from Weatherford College in Weatherford, TX and an AS in Architectural Drafting from College of the Canyons in Valencia, CA. Now that I live in San Antonio I'm trying to decide which school/schools I should attend. Being a father of two I am definitely on a tight budget so I'm gonna try to go to a Community College as much as I can. But I was just wondering if any of you had any advice as to which school/schools would be best for my plans. Thanks in advance.

I work as a commercial electrician in SA.

The "construction managenmt" folks work their butts off - and all the ones I know are on salary. I wouldn't work that job for salary unless it was real good. The guys I talk to - once all the hours are tallied - are making about $17.00-$20.00 an hour.

If you're gonna go that route, I'd go the "project manager" route. Less running around the job site, less keeping the unskilled help (sweepers, etc) in line, etc.

Best choice if you ask me is go the engineering route.

Best of luck.
