I would go to saltgrass for a good Steak , Armadillos for a good burger, the Cove for a healthy burger, Pigstand for Pie and Icecream .
Gees, now that I think bout it theres hardley anything to do but eat and drink round here.... Theres Government Canyon state park up NW for healthy hiker types .Then theres Brackenridge park so you can Do the ZOO and the park. Dont go on Sunday unless your into 20's and driving back and forth up one street.

I really like Coopers. They don't have a wait staff, so you have to get up a lot to get your drinks and what not, but their meat is excellent.

hmm, well, i would say the alamo, simply because you can't see it anywhere else! i definitely think there are some good places to eat in san antonio, but i haven't found anything too one-of-a-kind. i enjoy san antonio's downtown and riverwalk area, so essentially i guess i'd choose the very touristy option of the riverwalk and alamo. much everything else 9as good as it is) i can see/visit other places.

Jeez, people are so funny/weird about the Alamo. Seriously.

It's practically a shrine to Texas Independence. Of COURSE you have to see it when you're here. Doesn't mean everyone's gonna like it, but anyone who has an appreciation for Texas History will love and understand its relevance.

I'd have to say, in no particular order:

Breakfast at Magnolia Haus or The Menger
The Alamo
The Riverwalk
Mission Espada and the Aqueduct
Rosario's
Tower of the Americas
Shopping in Alamo Heights
Tubing the Guadalupe followed by a meal at The Gristmill in Gruene
