Ok folks. I have read a ton of info about people relocating to SA. We are in the same boat, and we need to find a place ASAP. I will be working at Jackson-Keller and 410. My husband is working at 151 and Wiseman. We don't mind >40 min commutes if we love the house/neighborhood.

We are moving from Plano, TX. I have not found any neighborhoods here that have what we need. Stone Oak area seems nice, but everyone talks about how bad the traffic is. Is it really all that bad? We are looking to rent so we can find out more on the neighborhoods before we buy. $1300 or so a month. We prefer newer areas, but I hate how all the houses here seem to be all siding.

Not to be offensive, but I CANNOT find a neighborhood that isn't ghetto or so new that it still has that nuclear test site field feel.

Am I asking for too much for the money?

Hey! I'm from Plano I miss the homes that have brick all the way around. They are here don't get me wrong but more expensive. In the DFW area it's just more common for less money.
There will be plenty in your budget. I will send you info..........
