There's a place at 281/Bitters/Heimer in the strip center. I don't know the name.

Suggestions? Yes! Go to Houston, Austin, or Dallas and you will realize how terrible the Chinese food in San Antonio is.

Golden Wok on Wurzbach has decent dim sum. I speak only for the dim sum, though. I didn't have anything off the regular menu, but from peeking at the plates on other tables, I'm guessing it consists of typically over-greased and over-fried American Chinese fare... it didn't look good. But, like I said, the dim sum was surprisingly good.

Phoenix cafe on 11821 west ave is the best. Their food are really good and authentic. Important tip:Make sure you order from the chinese menu.

If you like chinese bbq, Kim wah is the place to go. Their peking duck is comparable to the one you'll find in china. The rest of their dishes are excellent too.

China King Buffet on San Pedro @ Oblate has grand opening and it is the best in town. Lovely place, hot food with a lot of variety. I highly recommend it. Asian Buffet on the Austin Hwy is where I always go for Chinese but decided to try this new place.

Buffets keep on appearing on the Kitchen Cops. I'll wait a bit.

P.F. Chang is not really Chinese food.

The Chinese people I know say it's the same. When I ask them for recommendations they tell me the buffet places that I think are crap.

I personally like Peng's near Ingram mall.
