Default Physician Assistant Opportunties in SA?

Hello. I am relocating with my family to San antonio this summer (husband is military).

I see AirForceDoc and others on this site and was wondering about medical career opportunities in SA.

I am a primary care Physician Assistant with 12+ years experience in internal medicine, family practice and urgent care settings. I was just checking to see if anyone knew of any practices in the area (preferably on the north side) that might need any experienced providers.

Thanks for the help. We really look forward to moving to SA.

Hi MGZMom! I am a PA and have just moved to San Antonio (husband is military as well). I would suggest looking at the Bexar County Medical Society website under staffing. There are several jobs posted there and apparently you can send them your CV and they can help you find what you are looking for (and help potential employers find you).

Also, if you haven't already applied for your Texas license - jump on it. It can take as long as 3-4 months to get it approved. They have quite a back log.

If I can be of any help let me know. Good luck!
