Default Nanny Agencies in San Antonio

Has anyone ever used the nanny agency Mom's Best Friend? If so, how was the service/experience?

If not, has anyone used any other nanny agencies and how were they?

The one in Austin has a good rating, but I haven't heard anything about S.A., except it's the same company.

I have a nanny set up (on a temporary basis, meaning part time) for later this month. I'll let you know how it went.

Default Update on Mom's Best Friend

FYI, I've been using Mom's Best Friend since Aug of last year now. So far, I'm very satisfied with the service. Because I don't have a full time nanny, I am not guaranteed the same sitter every week, however, the agency really works with you to establish consistency. Any questions that I've had for the agency were answered promptly and the customer service is great. Other than them being a bit pricey, its been a great experience.

I tried Caringnannies.com and found the owner to be really friendly. I tried out a nanny and thought she was really sweet, I ended up not hiring the nanny I just felt more comfortable in an environment where there were multiple eyes watching my kid, Caring Nannies was very understanding and really great to deal with. You may also want to check out care.com or sittercity.com the websites have people who are looking for nanny jobs and sitter jobs. I you don't need full time care you could also post an ad with the local college job centers. Good luck! If you decide not to go the nanny route the Jewish Community center is fabulous! They are NAEYC accredited, I believe the only full-time daycare that is and your kid will be in a class with very very low ratios (the 3 and 4 year old rooms have a 1 to 6 ratio). They also have credential teachers who have been in the program a very long time.

I used The Domestic Agency to find a full-time live-in nanny, who is really, really great!

Here is their web site: Domestic Agency
