Two quick questions- any places that anyone can think of to rent downtown for 6 months? We're moving to SA, and going to school in spring, but want to spend six months and explore and live in the heart of it... Any properties or condos that come to mind?

Secondly, my friend and I both got jobs at restaurants downtown- any idea what one makes as a food runner or server in a typical shift down there? I know it depends, but a ballpark would help if anyone can think of one.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

You might rental properties at centroproperties.com. Servers and bartenders can make extremely good money depending on the restaurant or bar. I would say at least $150 on an average night.
