What the other two people said. They were literally the first thing as you walked in the door... Even had samples. They were quite good.

LoveCreekOrchards

Go pick your own.

I even called and checked. They said they have a wonderful harvest on the trees this year for picking your own.

The cost is 1.50 a pound. They are just on the edge of Medina. SO you go get on Bandera road and take it west. 13 miles past the town of Bandera.

they are open 9-5 M-F and 9-4 on Saturday. Closed Sunday.

Its a trip but its a nice area. We take the kids out there in October for the pumpkin patch and all that.

just an added bit. By picking yourself you will get the longest life for them. You dont know when the ones at the store where picked and they may not stay good very long. Picking them right before you send them would give you the longest shelf life possible.

There is also something to be said about telling people you picked the figs for them.

Dude, you should've asked about six weeks ago when we had figs coming out our ears. They're done now though - no more figs 'til next year.
