My best friend is relocating to SA. Her husband is military and they will be residing on/near Fort Sam military base. Wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for private preschools in the area. Her son is 4 (soon to be 5 in November) and she will need a full-time daycare/preschool for him as well as a full time daycare for their 3 year old. I appreciate the help! Thanks!

One of my clients who just moved here has a 4-year old. She's had a hard time finding a good school in this area that wasn't full. She found a Montessori school in the Alta Vista area. If you don't think it's too far, I'll get more info. She's very happy with the school.

St Paul's Montessori on E. Grayson, right across from Ft Sam - school day ends at 3:15 and they don't have afterschool "care" but they've just started afterschool programs until 5:15

Circle School on Pershing. Have afterschool care

Acorn School on Broadway but only 3 hours and no child care

There are also a number downtown, if that's not too far:
St Luke's
First Presbyterian
all include full day care

Most schools are usually full by now but I heard Circle School had a few openings
