I'm moving down there and I was wondering what there was to do? Is there a good gay scene? I'm interested in a lot of different things so I'm open to any suggestions of things to do.

This is such a general, open-ended question that I'm going to be the first San Antonian to suggest using the 'search' function and find everything you're looking for. There is at least one 'is SA right for me' thread a week, so it won't take too long to find mas info.

I did a couple of searches and I couldn't really find anything regarding the gay scene there... thats why I said it specifically in my post.

If there is a way you can get a hold of a San Antonio publication called the "Current"...that should direct you to the search you are asking,..also,..Main street on the weekends is hopping for the gay scene,....

Is there any other reason why are you moving to San Antonio? What about housing? Jobs? Food? Culture? San Antonio has everything. I am sure you will feel welcome.

From what I've heard... it takes more than painting flowers on a wall to be gay.

AFAIK there is but it has mainly to do with clubbing and drinking.

All of San Antonio is like this, partying and working, sometimes in that order for those who stay out extra late, seem to be the norm.

I wish there was more and perhaps there is more to your scene here but you will have to do some digging. I know for a fact there is networking on a business level because I saw a copy of the GLYP at a restaurant the other day.

Here's one that could help: Does San Antonio have a GLBT Community? And http://www.city-data.com/forum/13646476-post7.html
Good luck!
