Default Undecided Still

Can anyone one tell me what area they would recommend for living within a tolerable commute to Brooke Med.and the SA Airport that would have 1+ acre of land with the house.Schools not an issue and would like to stay away from high(5k - 6k) property tax areas.

Default School Taxes

I'm curious,if I move into a high growth area and my school portion of my taxes is 2000.00 and they build 2 more schools in that area, what determines how much increase in that tax and who decides that increase?

How about Garden Ridge? It is off the 35 and easy commute to BAMC, the airport is about 30 minutes away, in normal traffic. Garden Ridge is 78266.

There are also acreage lots up in Comal County - up Bulverde Rd and Smithson Valley Rd. Then you are limited to the 281, unless you took the side roads. (281 tends to be crazy traffic!) Zip is 78261.

Off of Evans Rd there is a subdivision called Century Oaks. It is in the Judson School Dist. (nothing against it - but in the nicer homes most people would rather go to NEISD) So, the houses are a bit cheaper than others in the area because if this. The zip code is 78261.

It is considered Bexar County instead of city limits and you pay less taxes. I think Garden Ridge might be similar, less taxes but they will all be 2% or more I believe.

Those are my thoughts - but I'm more familiar with the North side.
