I noticed that too, but the don't ask part at the bottom probably has something to do with it. I'm guessing they either have some inside help or got a big discount from switching to TWC..
Having a lot of cable boxes/DVR's doesn't help either. I pay $36/month just for them..

Personal opinion.
I have dish because I love the interface and the dual tuner DVRs. If you have a good tech, or can do creative wiring yourself with diplexors, you can activate every outlet in the house from those dual tuner DVRs.
I've tried to switch to TWC twice now, but end up back with Dish by the weeks end. I hate their interface and the picture wasn't near as good, DVRs were blocky, etc. Their phone is overpriced, but then again, I pay 8.29 a month for phone. RR premium can't be beat, I've had to get the cable modem replaced, but that's not their fault (even though it took days and two visits to get them to replace it). But, they have "on demand" (not PPV), and that is a great feature!
Directv I've never tried, so I can't say.
Uverse has had their problems and (I read) they have issues with picture quality. I think it was the HD channels are great, but the SD channels make you want to slit your wrists...

$126.25
Digital Phone = $39.95
Cable (2 receivers, HD Channels, Free Showtime) = $29.95
Roadrunner + Turbo = $29.95 + $9.95
Taxes = $16.45
I think it was a special or something - 3 for $99 and we got the Turbo RR for the extra $9.95
We have a TiVo box - and I don't know if we pay to TWC for that or to TiVo? Hubby would know, I'm a dunce about stuff like that!
This is what it says on our e-bill: BASIC, STD BASIC, NAVIGATOR, WGN, TBS, STROVRCP10, A/O SUR, DIGI DHCT, VOD, CAMPAIGNT, D/VARIETY, DIGIPIC HD, D/SHOWTIME, D/TMC, DIGSIMUL, DIGI PIC, DIGI SVOD, CALLER ID, CABLE CARD

I do think our price will go up after a year though - we've had this for about 6 months. It was an introductory offer or bundle. We used to do DirecTV. We liked them fine too - but hubby always likes trying out new things and new services, and getting intro offers along with them! So whoever has the best HD or offers when this year is up we'll probably go back to.
It does work to call for a cheaper price. I tried to cancel DirecTV several times and always got offered lower prices, although sometimes you end up starting a new contract that way - so be careful. It worked for Blockbuster Online, I tried to cancel saying we never used it and I got 2 months for $8.00 instead of $17.99.

$28.50 per month for basic service plus TBS, WGN and the HD channels via CableCard. Great value in a little known package.

Does anyone have an opinion on GVTV? We are moving into Fair Oaks Ranch and I see that GVTV and Time Warner are the options. Were we are moving from we have Direct TV and are not sure if we want to transfer the service because you have to have a box at every TV and one satellite can only service four boxes. Hum...
