Do you have a costco membership? They usually have good prices on thier fridges. Don't look online, the selection online is horrible, but go to the store. I imagine Sam's Club would probably be comparable if you have a membership there instead,

We just bought all new appliances a couple weeks ago. We decided to go all stainless because of the looks, not because we love getting rid of finger prints
but anyhow, if the OP is looking at stainless, make sure the fridge is actually stainless. For some reason most have switched to this plastic stuff that looks like stainless. We had everything picked out and luckily I noticed at the last moment that the fridge wasn't really stainless. After looking through all the models it turned out that nearly all of the stainless looking ones were actually plastic. I actually had to get a discontinued model to get real stainless. The current models that were real stainless were mostly the new style with the three doors and I don't like those, especially the seriously extra cost..
It also really looks nice to keep them all the same brand. I went with LG and am very happy with them. Especially the oven and microwave with the blue interior..

Home depot has the best selection. and don't forget to buy your 10% OFF Coupon on ebay for $4.00.
Saves you about $200.. well depends on how much of a fridge you want

that reminds me, both Lowes and Best Buy have 10% off all major appliances and Lowes also has free shipping (after MIR) this week..
not sure what other stores have, but I remember those two while I was looking for a new washer and dryer. I'll probably go with Conn's on that though because I want to stay LG and they have two free stands (for front loading machines) and that'll save almost $400

My experience with Conn's on electronic items has been extremely frustrating. When the TV finally quit, they offered about 50% of the replacement cost... despite paying $400.00 for an extended warranty with replacement coverage. We did buy a fridge from Sears about 18 months back, and everything went swimmingly. One call and they came out to replace a cracked shelf.

We really did our research and went to everything from scratch and dent, Conns, Bestbuy and we went with Bestbuy because they had a special and we compared the different type of fridges for example icemaker size, to vent system in the fridge, to location of icemaker This is all very important if you are looking at space and air circulation for freshness. We went with the LG because of this it was on sale we got it from Bestbuy. We didnot have any problem with Conns we got our TV from them. We are now trying to buy a stove have anyone had experience with the LG stove I seen the one with the blue in it I have to buy one this week.

Default where to buy a fridge but not spend a fortune

Good customer service and okay selection with decent prices. Just north of the I-410/Bandera intersection.

Scratch N Dent. super store
6850 Bandera Rd
San Antonio, (210) 680-9722

If at all possible, find a way NOT to use their delivery service. I think they charge too much and declined their delivery service after we already haggled on a price. Bought a fridge, washer and dryer there.

I am not sure of the name but I think it is INCE Distribution. You can see the sign from 410 & Vance Jackson. It is off the access road near Hopp's off of 410/Vance Jackson. They are not retail but you can call or stop by and ask them if they have anything. I got a huge GE top of the line stainless steel fridge there for less than 1K just because it had a tiny dent on the back side that you can't even see. Then I went next door to Hopp's and found a 6 burner stainless steel gas stove for $999.
