Amen Dopo. Anger/negativity on the airwaves isn't the least bit entertaining, at least not to me.

Exactly. When I lived in Northern Virginia I would tune into WETA frequently and listen on my way to work in the District. When I moved back to San Antonio in 2005 I quickly checked out the left end of the FM dial and happily discovered KPAC. I've been a frequent listener ever since. KPAC is a great resource for all local classical fans.

Agreed, which is why if I am not listening to KPAC (or KRTU, if they're playing some smooth jazz), I usually have a podcast or a playlist from my Zune on. About the only "talk show" I listen to is Car Talk from NPR. "Click and Clack," a.k.a. "the Tappet Brothers" (real-life brothers Tom and Ray Magliozzi) provide entertaining and humorous automobile advice to unsuspecting callers. You don't have to be a motorhead to enjoy the show, Tom and Ray have infectious senses of humor and mostly make fun of themselves.

I honestly cannot stand most DJs, I always figure they're too ugly to be on TV!

Cheers! M2
