any recommendations on where a guy can get a cool, but still professional looking, haircut? even better if the price is reasonable and the salon is not too girly.

thanks!

Doo or Dye. Mulberry St in 78212 Supposed to be very "hip" I would ask for an appointment with the male, I forget his name though. They have a website.

My son got his hair cut at SportClips - Haircuts for Men yesterday afternoon, they did a nice job for $16 + tip.

As I waited on him, I saw several guys get pretty good haircuts, and no appointments are necessary.

The girls there know what they're doing, and you can watch sports while they cut your hair.

Sure, it's not Roosters Men's Grooming Center, but I am of the mind that I am there for a good haircut, but a day spa!

Cheers! M2

Umm supercuts with a coupon, seriously. I used to go to visible changes, regis and the like and Supercuts does everything I want in a haircut for like a 1/4th of the price.

I'll hook ya up with me pair o' clippers set at #1, and it will only put you out 5 bux!

Can't get much cooler than that, unless you go "pelon".

Here we go! Remember this from early morning tv? Flowbee factory direct Also Flowbee deluxe with vacuum

Seriously though, I need to find a decent place myself.....last 2 or 3 times I went to my usual spot, they didn't do a very good job.

I have several different sizes of tupperware bowls, if you want to borrow them.....

I've been cutting my own hair for a long time! Initially, it was just to save money when I was a college student but I've kept it up since.

Almost two years ago, I put my hair in mosty faux-hawks. Last year I ditched the faux-hawk and I started combing it to the front while keeping it short and clean-looking. And for work I'll kind of spike it up with "glue-gel" for a fresh look with it combed back.

I vary it depending on whether it's for work, family, or other.

I'm a pro at it now and I ALWAYS get the hairstyle I want exactly because I do it myself.
