How long does it usually take a case like this to go to trial? He was originally arrested over a year ago. What takes so long to try the case?

I was also surprised to hear that he had been out of jail this whole time.

I wonder why people are so quick to defend this guy, but a drunk driver gets destroyed on this forum. I can't stand either, just wondering what the difference is. because yucknutz served in the military? Because his wife isn't as attractive as some would like? Strange stuff.

while this guy is just as bad a scumbag as buford, buford's case hit home on 2 personal levels. 1) my idiot, disowned father killed someone while driving drunk (just like buford did. read the bexar county hospital police department's report on the incident prior to SAPD arriving), 2) my wife works for one of the PDs thats investigating buford and about to prosecute his ass for DWI.

if yucknutz serves in the military and is using that as a cover, fark him! i have a brother in law serving to defend the freedoms (when applicable. the middle east wars are NOT impeding on american freedoms on american soils...) of douchebags like him. if hes using that as a crutch, hes a bigger douchebag than buford is, but only slightly.

Probably because he served in the military.

Maybe because he was some sort of San Antonio icon?

But seriously, I ran into the guy a couple of times several years ago. Once at his store after I bought my son a pair of glasses and he lost one of the screws, we took them back to see if they would put a screw in for us, and Mr. Mike himself did the work, and even cleaned and adjusted them. He seemed like a really nice and friendly guy.

The second time was a few years later when I was at the Kelly Clinic waiting for my medical appointment. Him and his wife came in for an appoitment, and I got the impression that he wasn't so nice then. He just looked p'd off, and gave off a bad vibe for some reason.
