My bandwagon is locked and loaded! I admit, I'm a total bandwagoner, but I ALWAYS watch the Series. So excited that there is a Texas team playing.

GO RANGERS!!!

I'm excited, and ready to watch! I'm on Dish Network though, does anyone know if they settled their dispute with Fox? Will they be airing the game? If not, I'll be heading over to my buddy's house.

In the 8 years I've lived here, I've always been amazed at how little attention is paid to the Rangers. Nice to see a new team in the World Series, and to have it be a Texas team is a bonus.

Does anyone know if there are any special events going on in or around San Antonio to support the Rangers in the World Series?

Cheers! M2

I was ridirciulously surprised when they won last week that literally no attention was given to them. They just continued on with high school footbal. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm all for some HSF, but it's the World Series for godoness sake!

The crowd went wild in Arlington. They were nuts up there. It's odd that SA seems to be more for Houston's baseball, yet Dallas' raunchy football.

I'm glad to see Nolan Ryan go to the World Series...met him some years ago....a really nice guy! Let's not forget about the Spurs starting their season tonight against the Indiana Pacers!

First game just wrapped up. Not a single ounce of boredom. Very good game. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this series.

Interesting thing: my mom lives in San Antonio, but my dad lives in San Francisco. hahaha
