My wife and I are headed back to Texas from the Pacific NW. We will be working in New Braunfels and Seguin. Trying to figure out where to live. Deciding between New Braunfels and the NE San Antonio suburbs. We have 2 young children that are not in school yet but will be soon, but we may have moved on before they start school. We like to be outdoors and also like quality restaurants. Any thoughts? Which are the better neighborhoods in NE San Antonio?

Thanks.

The Schertz/Cibolo area would be nice...or even New Braunfels right off of 46...but of course we need to know your needs. You say little ones, but do want a newer neighborhood or do you want a home with land? You can get both in that area.

We would prefer a newer neighborhood but not "cookie cutter" if possible. I would like something with the ability to walk to restaurants but I know that is not likely prevalent in these areas.

NB is very rural - if you're looking for a place with restaurants in walking distance, you want to live in a city.
