One word of warning on Blanco: I saw the police pulling people over last night when I came home. I think that people are so excited to see all the lanes opened up, they are stepping on the gas and opening it up!
They were ticketing TPC Pkway the day before...might be an area "sting" thing...

haven't been on Blanco yet, but I'm excited to do more than crawl...

I am so far loving Blanco road expansion. I have been hitting it at different times in the evening and so far so good. I still avoid 281 though during the week.

Yes, I've driven it during the morning, afternoon, and evening rush hour...so far so good, everything is moving and no delays other than having to stop at a red light.

I also noticed this morning that they have moved the orange barrels out of the bike lanes and off to the side of the road. It looks like they'll be picking them up and taking them away.

I just drove it for the first time today at around 5:30 PM. It was AMAZING!!!! My mind was absolutely blown. And they did a great job of making it look very appealing, as well! Loved it.

Ok, great its open, but one thing I have noticed is that I have not seen one person riding their bikes down Blanco road since it opened. What the heck, they had no problem riding when it was one lane with barrels everywhere!!

To quote that Real Housewife of NJ --- I luv, luv, luv it!! Just drove home from the grocery store. Got a red light at target, but it was smooooth sailing all the way to huebner. I also think it looks really snazzy, particularly the way they did the bike lanes and turn lanes. And they did make it a two lane left turn on Huebner!! Yea!!

Thank you Bexar County!!!

I drove through that intersection today. So many lanes! It really changes the character of the intersection. This is no sleepy suburban crossroads anymore... it looks like it's meant to be a bustling part of the city.
