On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the loudest), how would you rate the crowd noise/intimidation factor at Spurs games when the other team has the ball?

I posted on another thread that the old arena used to be deafening in the early 1990's. It hasn't really been that way since the team moved to the Alamodome, in my opinion. It may be a little louder now, but it doesn't come close to what it was like at the Hemisfair.

A lot of that is due to the acoustics of the building. The dome was cavernous and had a large curtain that absorbed sound. The ATT Center is huge and very tall. The old buildings are typically louder.

It's early in the season. Playoff crowds are loud. October, November and December crowds are not paying attention half the time.

I'd say about a 3.5 to a 4.

Wonder if they'd allow the use of Vuvuzelas?
