To the lady today driving the black mercedes in the HEB Plus off Potranco parking lot. As you were speeding and I was walking to my car you almost ran me over. Not to mention the mom with kids walking behind me. You didn't blink or even wave "sorry" you simply pulled into a space and applied your lipstick. I'm guessing your holiday is much more precious than anyone elses and you had every right to almost run me down so you could get your cranberries. Moderator cut: personal information Didn't think I'd notice did you?

It's amazing how people get so caught up in the "hunt for a space" that they will, knowingly or unknowingly, nearly mow down others to get there...If they are not going too fast, I like to thump their car as they go past...

she was flat out flying. I had to move to avoid being hit. No reason at all for this.

And pay attention to what you're doing! In today's news...

Quote:

Police said the 19-year-old headed home early Wednesday morning when she "got distracted" and "hit the median" on Bandera Road.
In other words, put the frigging cell phone down and drive!

By the way, she was treated and the scene and is expected to be OK. Of course, things could have turned out much worse, so hopefully the young lady has learned her lesson!

Cheers! M2

Seems the loonies are out in force, came within inches of hitting a truck today... Happened where Culebra narrows down to one lane right after Westover, guy comes shooting out of nowhere on my right. Had to swerve into the the left lane almost hitting the truck in the lane.

I swear, you see the cones, they are not meant to signal "speed up and force your way over"

Let's hope we all have a safe Thanksgiving.....
