It was probably just Kobe Bryant in his new jet plane. The reflection from the city lights hit his wife's big diamond ring and radiated so much light from the plane's windows that Manu thought it was a UFO! That's my theory, an' ah'm stickin' to it!

It was later identified as an unmaned craft landing at Vandenburg Air Force Base. The base is about 150 miles from LA. TMZ was who got it when he saw it and put all out there. So much for the credibility of the papparazi.
