Woohoo!

I called this morning and they added the free 1 year of 14 channels from Showtime! It took only 5 minutes for it to activate. Just thought I'd pass this along to any other TW customers.

They also had an HBO promotion but that was only free for 3 months.

Enjoy!

Ahhhh is that how they are going to try to keep customers when they dump all the Fox channels at the end of the month?

Haha!

Well, I would bet you millions (if i had it) they will reach a deal. It's just KABB and TW being stubborn 'til the "very end."

They'll reach a deal. Just like KSAT keep threatening their viewers that were going to possibly go off the air. TW and KSAT finally reached a deal after weeks and weeks of them not reaching an agreement.

Neither side wants to upset their customers or viewers.

Does this special apply if you have the Surf special (the bundle that has internet and cable on it)?

Time Warner had no problems dropping KXAN (the NBC affiliate) in Austin back in late 2008. It will be interesting (crappy) if it happens here.

I have the internet, cable and phone bundle. When I called they asked for my account information and they pulled it up and said that I qualify for the 1 year Showtime. I made sure there was no additional charge.

I guess you just have to call to see if what you have qualifies.

You're welcome!

To others: I only have cable TV (no bundle) and I got the deal.

Thank you to both of you! I will call and see if my hubby can get a deal with his mom's service.
