I'm looking for a baseball team for my 3 year old in Helotes. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks! I know that there is a league that practices at Beard but I don't know which league it was, if anyone knows how to get ahold of them that would be great. Thanks!

The Greater Helotes Little League is just off of Braun about halfway between 1560 and 1604. It's just on the side of Helotes Creek as you come down the Hill from Wildhorse, on the left as you head towards 1604 (map).

But understand that National Little League rules say children must be four years old (as of April 30, 2011) before they can participate in T-ball.

Cheers! M2

MMM is correct... We put my son in Tball for the first time this past fall with GHLL and they do have to be 4 before they can play... Our team may have been the one you saw practicing as we did practice at Beard...

We are just outside the GHLL limits. The boundry map seems to go right around us even though we are in Helotes, that's why I'm having a hard time finding a team.

Try this website. If you either e-mail or call the District Administrator and give them your address, they can help you. If you are still in Bexar County, then you more than likely will play within District 19.

Really? That's strange... We are out in Boerne, just past Leon Springs, and we are just inside the GHLL boundary line...

I suppose you're looking at this boundary map?

If you are not in the GHLL boundaries, then you could be within Northside Suburbanb LL boundaries

Oh thanks I guess we are in the Subarb one. Strange, I would think we would be at GhLL since they practice at Beard and thats where my kids go to school.

As said before, the minimum age is 4 for Little League. I think the Y will take them at 3 yrs old, but I'm not sure.
