Mom would send me to Epp's Red & White Grocery Store on Nolan street to buy a dozen El Popo corn tortillas for 12 cents. Mom would also give me an extra 2 cents to buy 4 Hershey Kisses! Mom's favorite El Popo tortilla dish was enchiladas with a egg on top sprinkled with fresh lettuce onion & tomato. Mmmmmmm!

Finding fresh, homemade corn tortillas around here is killing me. Anyone have any ideas? I hate the ones from the grocery store. Yuck.
