You'd think I would know (considering my proximity to the place), but I'm not totally sure. Guessing the sapphire is correct and it'll be swamped. If I'm home, I can look over the fence and letcha know. (But I'll prolly be in Austin.)

Hmm. I happen to have this Monday off (doing a compressed schedule now) and I want to do something fun with the fam, but considering the fam consists of a 6 month old and a 3 year old, I have to be cautious with my grandiose ideas :-)

I wouldn't hit it Monday, maybe in the middle of the week after it dies down a little. It's gonna be crazy busy, though, no matter what..

and this is a sad one.. BBC News - Dead soldier Liam Tasker and Army dog return home

Thoughts and prayer going out to those affected by the quakes and resulting tsunamis.

I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it "the terminator". First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy.

You didn't like the third one? I was watching the first one the other day and had to turn when he was cutting his eyeball with that scalpel.
That's a really odd fantasy thing too, but at least it doesn't hurt anyone..

I consider T2 the best action movie ever made. That thing in Blu Ray still gives me chills in the awesomeness.

I love the whole T concept and especially liked the TV series. Unfortunately I was one of the only people watching it, so they cancelled it. It was getting really good too.

That is totally not weird at all.
