About ten minutes ago I was driving home through my subdivision and I saw the bumper that was on my Mothers car on another Honda Civic!! I know it was the same bumper because it still has two of the bumper stickers that she had on her car. I really can't prove that the person who is driving this car stole my moms car.
Does this justify a call to the Police or should I just let it go?
WTHECK! YES definitly call and report it, take a picture of it so you can give the license plate # to the police. Hope they come and ripe that bumper off their car!

Also, I'm sitting at my desk right now (10:58 pm) and I just heard gunfire! No, not a backfire, but rapid succession of 5-6 shots.
WOW, that crazy. What sub-division?

We're in the Hills, but not sure where the gunfire came from.

Call the police but keep in mind these folks may have unkownly bought the bumper from the thief not knowing it was stolen. Either way the bumper still belongs to you by law.

The reason I say this is I can't believe the actual thieves would be dumb enough to leave the stickers on it.

Even if that's the case, they still need the police to go by and find out where they got that bumper from to trace it back to the thieves.

I called the Police last Sunday, but by the time they came, the person had left and their garage door was closed. The house is on Gardenia Pass in The Vistas. I think the house is rented. I always see about four males/females in their twenties. They have a black 1990's Trans Am and a lowered silver 1990's Honda Civic HB that they're always working on in the garage.
A detective said he would drive over there to see if he could talk to someone. We'll see what happens.

Parents, please talk to your high schoolers about their driving. This morning we were almost hit by a small blue suv coming out of the Bluffs (Creek Summit) neighborhood. He was speeding, and looked like he was going to run the sign until he saw us, and then slammed on his brakes. He had a car full of other hs'ers, too. Right afterwards, we get on 1604, and he weaves around everyone on his way to the turnaround, and takes that at a high rate of speed, almost clipping our car (again) and several others.

We picked up our kid from a morning meeting, and AGAIN, on our way to drop her off, we see him coming out of the Shell station on Military/1604. He drives 'normal' for a bit, but still aggressive. At the intersection of Wiseman and 1604, I locked eyes with him in my rearview - he kept his cool for a bit UNTIL we get to Cottonwood Way, A SCHOOL ZONE, where he proceeds to gun it again and weave around everyone, taking the turn into the school drive and then into the parking lots at a high speed again.

Listen, if I find out my kid drives like that, PLEASE tell me. If this is your kid, PLEASE straighten them out. Before they kill someone. Potranco has too many stupid accidents already, no need for a careless one. PLEASE.

I've had the complete opposite experience the last two mornings - had the distinct pleasure of being behind someone driving 20mph from the park all the way over the bridge.

Perhaps you ought to post a partial license plate number.

If he was going slow enough for me to get it, I would - I thought about taking a picture, but as I'm complaining about reckless driving, I don't want to be the one getting in a wreck fumbling with my phone while on 1604. :P
