What happened to the thread "Texans Please Help" or something to that effect? It was hear a few hours ago and now it's gone. I thought that was going to be a fun thread and was curious to see where it would go. Now I'm wondering where it went. I thought maybe they moved it to the Texas forum but it's not there either. Did the mods delete it for some reason?

Wonder why? I can see moving it since it wasn't technically pursuant to San Antonio but to just delete it sounds a bit harsh to say the least. Have we become that thin skinned?

Some lady in the UK is doing a study on stereotypes Brits have of Texans and vice versa. She is planning a visit to Texas and thought this would be interesting. She has a website devoted to it that is very lighthearted, humorous and interesting. I can PM you the link if you want. I probably shouldn't put it on this thread since they deleted the other thread.

Probably because she was soliciting participates. Although it sounds pretty cool.

Correct. The moderators have been told that no one is allowed to solicit anyone for anything here at any time. Period. That's why the thread had to go.

I'll leave this one up for a day or so, but it will have to go too, since the TOS says we can't discuss moderator action in a thread. You're always welcome to and encouraged to send the forum's moderators (Beretta and me) a DM with questions like this.
