I have tried and tried to research online, to gather info for playdates/lunch kinda places to eat. So far the only info I have are a select few places near my home, that I have know about for years.
Location; San Antonio, Texas.

What places do you know of that have a toddler area for kids to play at-on-in while the parents enjoy another parents company during lunch?

we haven't been there, but that new Yacht Club place along 1604 near Military I believe, looks like it has a nice play area -- It has a giant playground in the parking lot (it's all fenced in) Looks like they actually have sod down in the area and picnic tables.

BBQ at West & Nakoma has Rainbow Play Systems, BIG'Z - open play area, Momac's on Jones Maltsberger -open play area, Beefy's on 281, La Hacienda de Los Barrios has a play area, but not close to the tables.

We went there a couple of mos. ago. It was still quite hot out when we went & there was no escape from the sun. Hopefully they will have more shaded areas by the time we heat up again. The play area was fantastic for our 2 year old. The food was pretty good but service was SLOOOOOOWWWWW and they made a lot of mistakes. The place was pretty new at the time so hopefully some kinks have been worked out. We will try it again.

Other places: The Cove, tycoon flats, Momaks

I agree about The Cove. Its a great place for playdate lunches. Also The Friendly Spot is good too for a bite (literally a bite) to eat and they have a playground.
