I just heard about something called Cedar X. you rub a drop of it on your palm, and you get relief from the cedar if you are allergic to it. anyone try it before?

I had some success with it.....but it's too late in the season now. IIRC you have to start applying it before the cedar moves in. As high as it's been this year, though, it's doubtful you would have had a ton of success with Cedar-X but I didn't use it, so can't say for sure. I am still suffering and it's been a month. I absolutely hate cedar and after this season I am determiined to live elsewhere. It is miserable.

Not every year is this bad.....I guess it's a combination of things but this year has been the worst in my memory. I haven't had 2 clear nostrils since some time in mid-December. I read this weekend that if you brew some Chamomille tea and put the teabags on your eyes, even letting some of the tea get in your eyes, it's supposed to help with the itch. I have just been using Brillo pads. Yes, it's that bad. Hope you are feeling better soon, nicholasa!!

Save the teabag jokes for the guys.

I am grateful that, so far, I've had very few symptoms from the Cedar. However, the one that I do have is fatigue. I've been taking 2-3 hour naps about every other day. Initially I thought I was pregnant! Then I was standing in line at the credit union with an RN from Westover Hills hospital who said it was most likely the Cedar, that it just makes people exhausted. Two pregnancy tests later, I figure she has to be right LOL!

I've read that the recent rain is supposed to "kill" the cedar pollen. where's the relief?

I recommend daily sinus irrigation (wash), and lot's of allergy eye drops....it's helped, but I can't wait until it's over!
