I've seen the schedule in past years so I dunno.

Thanks Skeet09, although I don't Facebook. I'm too private for that...

Understandable. I've got some friends that create a fake profile just to check out events like this.

Nice! Thank you too. I already know a fair bit about it having had friends from Singapore, even learned a bit of Singlish, but you can ask her: can gift me red envelope stuff with cash for CNY lah ^_^

They have many different types of foods available, but I always hit the food stand that has the rice with the brown japanese curry gravy.

Also, I usually check out the martial arts tent, near the back. Some of it is boring karate, but sometimes they have some interesting stuff. If Sal's Chen Style Tai Chi group demonstrates, that's always neat to watch.

The program and menu are located under the Buy Tickets icon: Events - Asian Festival (http://texancultures.com/events/asian.html - broken link)

I used to enjoy going years ago when it was held at LBJ park, I understand it has a lot more foods and activities now.

I do not see any lectures scheduled for this year. They have had them before inside the building in a classroom setting. Well hopefully something turns up.

It is still going to be exciting!

It's probably got something to do with the lack of culture and sophistication and in the organizer's simplemindedness.
