Default Meet and Greet Part II

Just got back from a GREAT time at Bigz's! Sure good to have some new folks show up and get to meet them, and wonderful to have all the "first" timers there too!

Thanks so much for coming out to share, especially given the rain today. I think that everyone there truly enjoyed getting together, and those newbies have all commented that they will be posting more now that they know that the group is super friendly, very deversified, and just enjoy the chance to get to know one another.

Kinda wondering what is going to take to get some of you to come on out and join us for the fun...but please always feel welcomed. There are so many of you that post such great info and those that are new and getting established here that it would be GREAT to get to put a face to the name and build on the experiences.

I think that we are on to something...and would hope that we can get the rest of you to join in on the next one. Thanks again, can't wait til the next get together!!!

That was so much fun! I really enjoyed meeting everybody. What beautiful families you guys have! It was great to put faces to screen names/real names...thanks Jules07 for connecting names and faces! Big Thirsty wants to come next time. We vote for a Wednesday night at the Flying Saucer!

Hi! So sorry we had to miss out! We made a commitment at Lifetime Fitness for M-W-F at 6 PM so I thought we could make at least 30 minutes just to meet and greet! My husband scheduled an assessment @ 5 PM so it just didn't work out this time. I really was disappointed that we missed everyone. Please don't give up on us!

Red face We went to Flying Saucer too!!

Hee hee! Since our daughter works at Flying Saucer and clued us in to the fabulous glass tonight, we stopped by afterward! However, they were swamped and by the time we got there, the glasses were sold out! (Particularly sad, since said daughter had been there since 10am, workin' a double, and she turns 21 at midnight and didn't get a glass! Horrors!) Anyway, otherhalf & I and kidlets, along with Brennan & Michelle and Princess, as well as our friends who are potential new City Data members all went and had a fun little bit before needing to leave by 9pm with our under 21 crew.

SSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO........next week, same time, different channel (Flyin' Saucer - for glasses! )???????

We are moving next weekend so we won't make it next week. But I can see Flying Saucer on Wednesdays as a regular event for the Thirsties...Big and Little. Baby T will probably get a babysitter though !
NurseDana, we hope to see you at the next one! We did the lifetime fitness thing....I don't like knowing how "old" my body is..ha ha ha!

Default I'm sorry we could not make it.

With us being new in town we did not want to drive in the rain...

Maybe next time, I sure did want to meet everyone.

Thanks NYerinTX! It was awesome meeting you! I am not looking forward to the move with a toddler, won't lie. She is a great baby....just a toddler and moving boxes scares me !!!!!
Forest Drive, no problem. It takes a little getting used to driving in the rain here! I wouldn't have chanced it if we had just moved! We will see you next time

I would have loved to have made it but am 8 months pregnant and having a hard enough time just chasing my 2 year old daughter all day - let alone working up the energy for an outing at night! Hopefully, after baby #2 arrives I'll be able to get out and meet you all!

By the way, My mom is coming down from Canada for the birth of our baby (homebirth) and I was wondering if you could recommend a good/decent place to take her for dinner on the Riverwalk. Any suggestions?
