That location is currently an empty field here. You can see frequent updates on the progress of that part of the River Walk taken from one street south (McCullough) of Brooklyn. Ought to be pretty darn nice when it is done. |

It will be nice if they can keep all the junkies and bums out of there. There is a hobo junction in the woods around that area. Hopefully they will relocated to the homeless center they are building on the other side of downtown. |

Not bad, this is mixed-use, I'm guessing? Also, aren't the height allowances higher the closer you get to the river, or do I have that backwards?

I don't mean to sound cynical, I really don't. But this is going to wind up a Sheraton or a Marriott time share, if it wasn't intended to from the beginning. I hope I am wrong.

As others have already said, it's a striking design. I hope it's not time-share property...
As long as downtown San Antonio refuses to take the existing stock of old buildings and turn them into viable living spaces (ie, turning the old Antiques Mall on Houston into another damned Marriott), all we can rely on are new mixed-use properties like this one to strengthen the live/work/play concept.
